Interface

IC5EQ notice main

1. Low shelf

The low shelf is set to 80Hz. Different Qs are applied, depending on boosting or cutting. When a boost is applied, the Q is narrow. Otherwise, when a cut is applied, the Q is broad.

2. High shelf

The high shelf is set to 10kHz. The Q is identical for boosting or cutting.

3. Low and high bells

The  low bell is set to 500Hz and the  high bell is set to 2000Hz. However, when boosted, it generates two subtle narrow cuts on the side of the  bell to make a contouring effect. This effect is applied only for boosting, if the bells are cutting, it makes a simple narrow  bell

4. Tilt filter

The tilt filter arrives right after the bells and shelves. The filter will rebalance the whole track from dark to bright sound, and vice versa.

5. Color saturation

The color saturation comes at the end of the process. This analog style saturation gives more warmth and richness to the signal. The analog switch turns On/Off the effect and the color knob manage how much saturation you want to add to the signal.

6. Output section

The output section is here to compensate the boosts or the cuts you made with the settings applied.
