The Vocal Strip is a 4-in-one tool. Prepare your vocals to have the best integration in your mix.

This plugin offers an EQ, an Opto compressor, a de-esser and a saturation to shape any vocals the best way.

Interface

3 bands EQ

This EQ has a low cut, a bell and a high shelf. The low cut has a frequency knob which goes from ... to ... and a slope knob with 3 positions : 12dB/oct, 24dB/oct and 48dB/oct. The bell has a frequency, Q and boost/cut knob. The high shelf has a frequency and a boost/cut knob.

EQ screen

The screen shows the frequency analyser and the filter curve. The light blue shows the input signal and the dark shows the output.

Opto compressor

The opto compressor has two simple knobs : a threshold and an output gain. All the rest is already set up. Ready to go.
The opto screen shows how much gain reduction is applied.

De-esser

The de-esser has three parameters. Two crossover frequencies to identify where the esses are, and one reduction to cut them. The LEDs show how much esses are cut.
The de-esser screen shows which crossover frequencies are selected.
The headphone logo isolate the esses to hear what is being reduced.

Color

The color bypass will add an extra saturation to give more warmth and richness to the signal.

Order processing selector

Select the order of processing you like to manage and increase your vocals quality.

Output section

The output section is here to compensate the volume to match from the settings applied.
